AlliedUP Cooperative Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Recovery Support Technician (RADT) in Santa Ana, CA to fill an opening with a treatment center. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year relevant work experience
Recovery Support Technician
Reporting to the Program Coordinator, the Recovery Technician is responsible for providing supervision to clients and facilitates deliverable services while ensuring execution of program policies and procedures as well as staff and client safety measures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides client supervision in a sobering center, withdrawal management and residential treatment setting.
Utilizes and promotes the appropriate treatment model with all clients. Conducting appropriate interventions and providing support
Observing and documenting relevant client information and behaviors. Ensuring communication lines between all departments (Withdrawal Management, Residential)
Maintains accurate documentation in electronic healthcare record, staff log, charts, facility forms, and/or other reports in a timely manner.
Provides safe, timely, and supervised the transportation of clients to off-site appointments or activities.
Conducts and documents client checks and counts.
Conducts routine facility checks to ensure facility safety and security. Including client and property searches.
Conducts and documents drug testing and/or breathalyzer.
Attends all required staff training sessions in accordance with Phoenix House and state licensing requirements, completes all training on time.
Assist with taking client vitals as needed.
Assist with supervising clients in the self-administration of medication and documents appropriately.
Attends and participates in program and all staff meetings.
Assumes lead duties for shift(s) as assigned
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or its equivalent required
At least six months prior experience in a related field.
Registered Alcohol Drug Technician (RADT) certification or similar certification
CPR / Basic Life Support certification
Must maintain a valid California Drivers' License
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Proficiency in MS Office systems. Ability to utilize an electronic healthcare record
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others Communicate effectively with others both orally and in writing.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced changing environment.

Understanding of addiction, co-occurring models, and treatment modalities
Understanding of client development and family systems
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to be flexible; problem solver, self-directed; customer service-oriented, and collaborative Skills and ability to engage and develop a rapport with clients and families of various backgrounds.
