We are hiring Licensed Vocational Nurse in Sylmar, CA
AlliedUP Cooperative is excited to partner with a recovery center in Sylmar, CA to fill a part-time LVN position. The hourly rate range is $38-$41 for 6-months.
What you'll do as an LVN for this recovery facility
Arrange off-site medical services
Prepare and maintain medical records
Oversee and implement self-administration of medication
Provide client/patient care in accordance with program and individual treatment plans.
Order and maintain medical supplies and facility first aid equipment and supplies
Maintain medical office and for ensuring all medicines are safely and securely stored
Administer tuberculosis test to clients
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal confidentiality laws and regulations
Complete required staff training and program sessions
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bilingual in Spanish is required
Proficiency in MS Office. Ability to utilize an electronic healthcare record
Knowledge of addiction, co-occurring models, and treatment modalities
Knowledge of patient development and family systems
Ability to be flexible; problem solver, self-directed; customer service-oriented, and collaborative
Skills and Abilities
Maintain the utmost in confidentiality
Professional and caring communications and relationship building skills
Comfortable in a busy environment with exceptional time management skills
Supportive of patients while providing clearly defined boundaries
