LVN – Licensed Vocational Nurse, Subacute

Hourly Pay: $35.53 - $41.26
Schedule: 6:45pm to 7:15am, 3x12, 36 hours per week. Extra hours may be available.
Days: Three (3) consecutive, rotating days, every other weekend
Location: Hollywood vicinity

What You'll Do

Everything you'd expect to do as an LVN from a clinical standpoint. What's critical for you as part of this group of LVN's is delivering that Human Touch element in this new practice. That means:

• Supporting the physical, psycho-social and spiritual needs of the patient
• Assisting in completing initial gathering of necessary data in a timely manner
• Performing ongoing monitoring when warranted by the patient’s condition
• Incorporating cultural and ethnic factors into patient’s care
• Correctly differentiating between normal and abnormal findings
• Incorporating the functional and developmental age of adult and geriatric patients into their care approaches

Minimum Requirements (Great for New LVN's!)

• One year of recent experience as an LVN
• Effective verbal and written communicator
• Current California LVN license
• BLS card
• LA County Fire Card (obtained within 30 days of employment)
• Ability to work in a unionized environment

Preferred Experience (Not mandatory!)

• One year of recent experience in an acute or extended care setting
